a hidden gem in ceuta
The hotel's unique architecture blended beautifully with the surrounding gardens. The reception staff were adept at making guests feel welcomed and assisted with local inquiries.
Unfortunately, the rooms showed signs of wear, and the outdated shower systems could use a major refresh. The breakfast was inconsistent-some days good, other days below average standard.

Exceptionally comfortable bed in the standard double room, plus central heating, a work desk, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Lots of delicious breakfast options. Early check-in and late check-out, very nice staff...

The rooms are reasonably spacious, with a great view, the garden, as for instance provided. They have a great restaurant for dinner, that was a definite bonus.

Good location close to the ferry terminal and beach. Room 307 was spacious with a South-facing balcony and a bathtub. The a la carte breakfast was enjoyable. The stay was quite pleasant overall!

Nice hotel, nice staff, excellent location. Was nice but the hotel is nothing to write home about.
All was good. But for 80 euros it could have included breakfast!

Request a room with a balcony. It offers fine views of the mountains and pool.

Very centrally located, walking distance to the historic walls and the shopping streets.
This hotel seriously needs renovations. It is clean, but the room decoration was probably modern decades ago. If you want something modern, don't go to this Parador.

This was my 6th stay at the hotel. It is well situated, has large cofortable rooms, good service, an excellent buffet breakfast and secure on=site parking.

The location is fantastic for exploring Ceuta, and taking a quick excursion to nearby cities like Tetouan is easy. With four young kids, we loved the clean pool, and breakfast options were plentiful and fresh.
My wife says that the room could use some updating.

The rooms were overlooking the gardens and sea and views were magnificient. There were weddings booked and they took place in and off the garden with noise penetrating the room. These take place on Fri and Sat so light sleepers should look for rooms away from the garden at weekends. Must give thanks to the manager who listened to our complaints and gave us suitable compensation.
We were disappointed in the dining room with pricing, service and food. Only 1 of our party of 4 could be said to have enjoyed the evening meal which cost about €40 per head including drinks. However the breakfast was good.

The hotel is located in excellent place, nice and center of the old town. The room was big and there was space in the bathroom as well. People were nice to me and I felt well there.
Although the service was nice I sometimes had problems with communication as I do not speak Spanish.

A lovely garden, but the disgusting cockroaches roaming freely ruined the ambiance. I now understand that my request for a complimentary upgrade was too much to ask. The restaurant refused service before 9pm, so dinner was an adventure! I almost gave a good review, but these details were just unacceptable.

Very well located in city center, nice swimming pool
Hotel and rooms are very old and noisy. You ear table moving of next flor due to tiled flor, and all night adult couple activities of the closest rooms !

The young waiter at the restaurant in the evenings was very patient and kind. We liked the rooms in the ancient wall. The fountains were pretty and the location was great.
Not at all family-friendly. They didn't allow us to put kids on the floor, bring any extra bedding, or anything. There was plenty of space in the rooms for all of this, but they didn't have any mercy. Travel in Europe is very difficult and expensive because you have to pay per person, the limits are strictly enforced, and there is no consideration of families with children. In the usa, you pay for the whole room in which you can put as many people as you like (a reasonable amount of course). In Europe, we feel we are being punished for having children even though we only have two. Also - the hotel was extremely expensive for what we got - the rooms were nothing special (the doors didn't even work to the bathroom or the room, the shower leaked terribly, and the beds were separate). This must be because there is little competition in Ceuta for hotels. The meals were also extremely expensive.
